Get Fit

Welcome to my workout pages! My general thought about working out is that you should find something that YOU enjoy. Whether it’s walking, running, biking, boxing, swimming, dancing, etc., as long as YOU are having fun, working hard and leaving the workout feeling like you accomplished something, you’re on the right track. I don’t believe in a “one size fits all” workout approach and certainly don’t believe that if you’re not a CrossFitter or marathon runner that you aren’t fit. My goal is to help get you motivated to find what you enjoy and what makes you want to make fitness a lifelong journey rather than an off and on relationship; to help get you out of your comfort zone and to help you realize you CAN do things you may originally think you can’t do.

Between the two pages listed below, I hope you can find something you’re looking for. I’ve got workouts varying in duration, equipment necessary (or not necessary), format, etc., so you can browse and find something that fits your current mood.

At Home/ No Equipment Necessary

Sometimes I don’t feel like going to the gym. Sometimes I don’t have enough time to get to the gym for a workout. Sometimes I am traveling and don’t have access to the gym. We’ve all been there right? The point of the exercises on this page is to show you that there are NO excuses for skipping a workout. On this page you can expect to see:

  • 20-30 minute workouts
  • No equipment necessary workouts
  • Booty Burners
  • Core focused
  • Upper body blasts
  • Videos

Running/Walking & Outdoor Workouts

Living in New England, we have a limited number of months that allow us to workout outside. During those months, I make it a priority to workout outside as much as possible. You can expect to see these types of workouts on this page:

  • Running or walking ideas
  • Outdoor Bootcamp exercises
  • Stair focused workouts

Workouts With Weights

Sometimes I want to lift weights, but don’t want to go to the gym. It happens. Luckily, I’ve invested in a few sets of weights and other pieces of workout equipment so I can still get in a non-body weight workout in the comforts of my home. These workouts can also be taken to the gym if you’d prefer to do them there. This page has the following types of workouts:

  • Circuit workouts
  • Total body workouts
  • Tabata workouts
  • HIIT workouts

Workouts With Videos

Over the past couple of years, I’ve tried to include some real-time video workouts in case you only stay motivated to workout at home if you’ve got someone leading you. My goal is to make more videos in the next year, so stay tuned!  Here are the types of videos on this page:

  • Booty Burners
  • Upper body blasts
  • Burpee variations
  • Cardio Kickboxing combinations
  • Full body workout

Workouts I Have Taught

Over the past 3 years, I’ve taught A LOT of classes, ranging from Muscle Work to Total Body Conditioning to UXF Burn to Bootcamps. This page encompasses all of my best workouts that I’ve taught and are great if you’re looking for a longer workout. You can expect to see:

  • UXF Burn format workouts
  • Total Body Workouts
  • Tabata Workouts
  • Workouts with Weights
  • Cardio Blasts

If you’ve got suggestions or requests for a specific workout you’d like to see, please let me know! I love posting workouts based on requests. Enjoy, get sweaty and feel great 🙂
