Hi there! A few weekends ago, RM and I headed north with some of his friends for a ski weekend. Mind you, before this trip, I hadn’t skied since college, which was… gasp… 8 years ago? Maybe 7. But still- you get the idea. A real friggen long time. I was a little nervous about the whole weekend because I knew I was the only girl who wanted to ski, but I’m happy to say I made it through 2 days of skiing with no injuries and with ending each day smiling. I think that’s a huge plus!

RM and I headed up on a Thursday afternoon, which was nice because we were able to get there, get unpacked and settle in with some wine and quiet time before everyone else arrived. We got a fire going in the fireplace and I can’t believe how much the fireplace at the house we rented resembled the one in my parents house. It was crazy!
