Good morning and Happy Monday 🙂 Did you guys have a good weekend? I sure did! It kind of started on Thursday night when I hosted book club, continued on to Friday night when RM and I tried a new place in East Boston and then to Saturday/Sunday when my sister and I tried out a class at the new Handlebar Indoor Cycling Studio in Harvard Square and then headed up to Vermont for a quick one night getaway with our parents. I’ll let the pictures do the rest of the talking- enjoy!
Great book! We all highly suggest it. Rose was delicious too 😉
I grilled pizzas- they were fantastic!
Love my SMC girls.
We found a new place on Maverick Street in East Boston- it’s a market/café called Maverick Market and it has a small menu and beer and wine. We had some ginger BBQ chicken sliders and a spicy shrimp and veggie stir fry. We were so impressed with everything!
Because sweaty/post spin pictures are always necessary…
And these new pants from Athleta? LOVE!
Lunch on the way to Burlington
Visiting with family
The Gagnons do Church Street! Was so awesome being back!
Dinner at Sweetwaters was fantastic!!
Hit up an old favorite bar after dinner- we went there a lot in college!
Breakfast at our favorite bagel joint when we were in college
We did a big walking tour of Saint Michael’s College after we went to church there. It’s grown so much- it’s incredible. My sister and I both went there (she was a freshman when I was a senior), so it was fun that we were both excited about being back on campus. I would do college all over again in a heartbeat!
Delicious spread at my second cousin’s 1st birthday.
Ice cream stop on the way home, #becausesummer
Phew! What a weekend- we were only in Vermont for about 22 hours, but I think we did a great job of fitting so much in! I really want to go back for at least a full weekend- there’s so much to do and see- it’s such an amazing city! And even though it would’ve been fun if RM and Nate could’ve joined us, it was nice to just have the 4 of us for the trip- my parents are the best!
Questions for you: How was your weekend? Did you do anything fun? Have you ever been in a book club? Have you been to Burlington?
I was THIS CLOSE to going to St Mikes instead of St As!
omg! We totally would’ve been best friends!!
My brother went to UVM so I went up there a few times to see him. Summer always mandates soft serve and rainbow sprinkles. ALWAYS.
It’s such a great city! And yes, both are an absolute must.
